Did you ever notice how some people seem to be “carriers” of bad luck? (Or, in some rare cases, good luck) It doesn’t seem to affect them directly but it affects everyone around them.

In the cartoons, they are the ones who stand there unharmed while the heavy safe falls out a window and lands on the person standing next to them. In real life, they are the ones standing at the gaming table, breaking even, or even winning a little, while everyone around them loses a bundle.

It’s not their fault. These people can’t help it; anymore then those of us who are plagued by bad luck can help it. That’s just what seems to happen when they are around.

Maybe you are like that. Or, maybe you know someone who is. If so, then this is the place to post the stories.

I know that as the Creator of this website, I have experienced this phenomenon many times when playing at gambling casinos. I will be rolling along, enjoying a little luck and winning a little money, along with others at the table, and then the casino will suddenly change dealers and everybody’s luck will change – always for the worse. I would venture to say that almost everyone who has played the tables has had this happen to them

Although we have no proof of this and there probably is no way to really prove it, we would suspect that casinos deliberately hire people who bring other people bad luck. It would only make logical sense. Some dealers have that reputation for instantly being able to cool down the hottest tables and the hottest players.

It’s not that they cheat. They don’t have to. They just naturally have the ability to bring bad luck to the players at their table. This helps increase the winning percentages – and the profits – for the casinos, so why wouldn’t they go out of their way to hire people like this? It just makes common sense.

So, if you’re the type of person who has always been bad luck to be around, you may be able to turn this to your advantage. If you go to one of the casinos and you can prove to them that you really are a bad luck carrier and can make other lose just by being around them, then they might hire you and pay you a very good salary just to hang around the tables.
